NON-EXCLUSIVE / "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR" AGREEMENT

I, as an "INDEPENDENT- CONTRACTOR" agree to work for Model Experts a NON-EXCLUSIVE talent/ agent relationship according to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
The Agreement is as follows: I understand and agree that Model Experts. shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury or damage to my property or person resulting from the performance of this contract. I further agree to assume full responsibility for and to pay all federal, state and local income taxes, including FICA and Medicare taxes, as well as liability and workers compensation insurance, social security, and income tax with respect to my performance of this contract. To Model Experts , I agree to uphold the high standards that they expect of me and will notify the agency immediately if I am unable to work the duration of this assignment or any part thereof. I understand that upon submitting this agreement that LEGAL ACTION CAN AND WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST ME IF WORK FOR THIS CLIENT ON A DIRECT BASIS OR THROUGH ANY OTHER AGENCY WITHIN THE NEXT THREE (3) YEARS. This includes, but not limited to, all trade shows, promotions, print, fashion, TV, film or voice over bookings whether in Clark County, Nevada, or in the continental United States. It is hereby understood that I am submitting this agreement form as an "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR" and I accept and assume any and all responsibilities relating hereto with respect to operating my business in compliance with any and all federal, state and local requirements along with these generally accept as standard business practices. I agree to return completed and signed work vouchers and return all costumes to Model Experts before the next pay period of my assignment. I understand that I am to return any costumes in the original condition in which they were received. I understand that Model Experts shall pay fees due to me as soon as practicable, after receipt of payment from the client. If Model Experts does not receive payment from the client, then I cannot be compensated for any work, but I may, at my own expense, seek legal assistance to obtain fees from the client should this situation arise. I understand that this agreement is a legal and binding contract and if I do not understand any aspect of this agreement, I agree to consult with an attorney or any other appropriate informational source prior to submitting this form. I agree and understand that any violation of the agreement may result in legal action being brought against me for which I may be responsible for damages and any and all other costs associated with the filing of said action to recover damages and losses. COVERAGE. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT I OPERATE AS A BUSINESS AND THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING ALL APPLICABLE TAXES. THIS INCLUDES FEDERAL, STAT, LOCAL, FICA, AND MEDICARE. I UNDERSTAND THAT MODEL EXPERTS MAY E-MAIL MY PHOTOS AND RESUME VIA INTERNET AS REQUESTED BY POTENTIAL CLIENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING ME FOR AN ASSIGNMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT MODEL EXPERTS MAY USE MY PHOTO(S) ON THE COMPANY WEBSITE WWW.MODELEXPERTSONLINE.COM FOR PROMOTION PURPOSES. MY AGREEMENT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT MY PHOTO(S) WILL BE USED. IF MY PHOTO IS USED, MODEL EXPERTS WILL NOT POST MY LAST NAME OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN BASIC STATISTICS LOCATED ON ZED CARD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PHOTO. MODELS LISTED ON WWW.MODELEXPERTSONLINE.COM WEBSITE ARE ACCESSIBLE FOR WORK, BUT BEING LISTED DOES NOT GUARANTEE MODEL WORK. THE WEBSITE PROVIDES AN ADDITIONAL MARKETING TOOL FOR OUR MODELS AS WELL AS PROVIDING OUR CLIENTS WITH 24 HOUR BOOKING ACCESS TO THE MODEL POOL THAT IS REGISTERED. |
